Towards Ecoism on the Road of Societal Resilience
2013
How citizens are able to understand eco-responsible conducts and a necessary community-based action in an individual world? With the "Transition Towns MOVIDA" project, we wish to identify levers related to a most collective and sustainable consumption. How our civilization can survive to a collective sclerosis accompanied with doomsayer's messages, increasing complexity and unstable governance? The present proposal consider major terms definition and practices, which can support the bounce to socio-ecological transition. When adaptive principles and practices runs for self-sufficiency and contributes to opportunity, availability or competition in a fragmented warming world, which behavioral…
2013
This paper aims to better understand the role of physical activity in social durability. The empirical study concerns sport and recreational activity among inhabitants of a popular urban district. The exploration, at the same time, of gender and generational categories, shows a large discrepancy between the two groups which stops only at 60 years old. This territorial specificity, referring to European and global French data, enhances a resilience point that can support the role of the actors of sport movement in reinforcing the district social durability.

Inteligencia Territorial y Transición Socio-Ecológica
2011

2013
Namely inherited by its double "reactive" and "proactive" dimensioning, the multisacalar status of the resilience concept is illustrated here by the storm Xynthia, which occured in France on February 2010. Through designing this disaster as a structural traduction of townplanning dysfunction, resilience appears to formalize a paradigmatic change of natural risk treatment, namely applied to urban development strategies.
2018
This paper presents the principles, method and main results of the Observatory of the Socio-Ecological Transition in Franche-Comté (OTSE-fc). The latter is currently used as a reference for the development of the Drâa observatory of the Province of Ouarzazate as part of the CNRS-CNRST scientific cooperation project 2015-2016. At the request of the participants of the workshop, we also summarized the progress of the territorial diagnosis of the Province of Ouarzazate, which constitutes the basis of the Drââ Observatory. The advances concern a diagnosis carried out among 1650 inhabitants of the province, its main quantitative results and a first exploitation of a qualitative analysis exposing…
